Meritoki Prospero

Meteorologists predict and help us navigate climate events based upon an analysis of observational data captured for the Earth, Moon, and Sun. Like never before, humanity has accepted the responsibility of reducing the potential for loss of life before, during, and after short-term and long-term climate events, taking measures to protect critical infrastructure for water, food, communications, transportation, and power. In a separate field, astrophysicists are observing and using mathematics and physics to study distributions and relationships of planets, moons, asteroids, stars, black holes, and galaxies, learning about the evolution and dynamics of the observable universe. There is a gap in our knowledge of the immediate consequences of being part of the universe from within our Solar, or astro, system.
